In 2020, difficult times proved the tremendous value of community, friends and family. Neighbors helping neighbors, friends and families finding ways to connect and residents supporting their local restaurants and small businesses. Students, teachers, staff and families have shown resilience and patience all year, working together to make the most of the school year.

I am grateful for the support we’ve received from our alumni, our parish and school families, and friends. Making sure our students and our school continue to thrive relies on this generosity. When you support Saint Benedict, you give the precious gift of a Catholic education.

As we move into the New Year, please know that we keep all of you in our prayers. We are eager for the time when we can gather as a school family regularly, without the unique worry, stress and circumstances of the past year. Yet even amidst this adversity, we are thankful for all that we have.

At this most Holy time of year, all of us at Saint Benedict wish you peace, hope, love and joy, and a healthy, happy New Year.

Jeff Maucieri, Principal

Soon we will give thanks for our blessings, and remember those who may be struggling, especially this year, with loss, loneliness, worry or financial stress. While gatherings may be a little smaller, that should not diminish our gratitude. On behalf of all of us at Saint Benedict School, enjoy this printable Catholic Thanksgiving Prayer.

This year, perhaps more than ever, it’s important to be there for our neighbors in need. Even our youngest learners can learn to follow in Christ’s footsteps by taking care of those who are less fortunate. Christmas is the perfect the time to spread Christ’s love through generosity.
